Have you ever wondered what it is like to soar through the sky like an eagle?  Here's your opportunity with a winning bid for a "Red Tail" soaring flight with Windy City Soaring Association.  You will be towed toward the heavens to an altitude of over 3000 ft in a modern, high performance dual controlled sailplane.  Then you will begin your soaring adventure flying silently through the air with a bird's eye view of the Illinois countryside chasing rising currents of air that keeps you aloft.  Take the controls yourself or just sit back and enjoy the view.  Highly experienced commercial rated pilots or flight instructors pilot all rides.  The flight duration is usually 20-25 minutes depending on weather.  Experience the thrill of motor-less flight.

While your keeters are having fun showing off their buns this summer, you can have a little fun wearing MARS' new, limited edition, "2009 Best of Buns" t-shirt! Designed by one of volunteers, this great shirt depicts our favorite breed having a little fun showing off their cute buns! The design is printed on the back of a Gildan Ultra 100% cotton t-shirt. Created to commemorate our Doggone Buns photo contest, the shirts will be available through eBay and are $10 plus shipping & handling. And each shirt purchased entitles you to a free contest entry. So, take your camera & keeter then record those buns having fun! All entries will be posted on our website at the end of the contest. Our thanks to Sachi, a former rescue, for modeling and her Mom Dawn, for the great artwork.
