Seems some of our furry four-legged friends are enjoying the summer soaking up the sun and surf in MargAKITAville. We believe one of them is traveling incognito and is rumored to be disguised as a Parrot head— Hawaiian shirt, shades and even flip flops! We’ve attached a sketch of the dude and if you happen to see him, please tell him to phone home once in awhile. If he wasn’t having so much fun, he’d have some serious explaining to do.
Speaking of fun—we thought we’d let all the keeters and kritters get in on the party. While they might not be able to make it to MargAKITAville, there’s no reason why you can’t bring a little MargAKITAville to where ever the summer fun finds you. Beaches, mountains, parks or the back porch, we are encouraging everyone to take a little time out from the pressures of life and have a little fun with your critters. Need some help setting the scene? Then get one of our great t-shirts, put on a Jimmy Buffet song, get your ‘keeters and kritters, then let the good times roll!
And, don’t forget the camera. We would love photos of your version of "Chillin’ in MargAKITAville”! Send them to mars_newss@sbcglobal.net and please include names, location and a little background. It will be a big help if you include "Summer Fun Photo" in the subject line. We will post them all in an album on our website! No purchase necessary, this is our way of saying thanks to our volunteers and supporters.
